have there ever been a mini dvr device that could use a usb port so you could use a webcam to make your "spy" cam?? as for the laptop, ya might want to use a netbook that uses a SSD harddrive so you don't have to worry about the drive being damaged while ya walkin around.

If your willing to pay $160 for this small camera and keeping it for like a year or so, I would REALLY REALLY suggest getting a SONY CYBERSHOT DSC-W350its a 14.1 Megapixel camera. Its only $30.00 more than this cam, but over a year span its not that much at all and the quality is absolutely GREAT. It records pictures at 1080p and video at 720p resolution. I got it a week ago and Im amazed at how inexpensive it was ($199.99 @ Best Buy) and the quality is great. Just a suggestion.

1500m. If my metric conversion is correct, then that's exactly 5000 feet...almost a mile. And if it's not correct, then whatever. I never learned the metric system, since the U.S. is the only place that doesn't use it, but I do know from looking stuff up myself that 2.5 cm=1in, and 1m=100 cm. So I just took 1500, multiplied that by 100 to get the cm, divided by 2.5 to get inches, and then divided that number by 12 to get the feet, and it came out to be exactly 5000, for those that want to know!
