I use to be a bus driver in Toronto. I was asked to pick up some band by the name of Chicago and take them to the airport. It was 1996 I think. I parked the bus and saw a man leaning against the hotel wall where I was to do the pick up. I said to him where is your group and who is the leader of your band. It was Robert Lamm ---had no idea who he was. Took them to the airport in a rush. Later became a musician myself -- and now look back --what a great opportunity to have met the band.

If you look at some of the still photos from their first 13 albums (1967-1984) you can see that Walt has always been the tallest and that Lee is almost just as tall. One good photo is the one where the 8 earliest members are standing in one line along the shore of the lake in Colorado. Another good photo is the one where they're all running away from the COP on the inner sleeve of the 10th album and Lee looks 14 feet taller than Danny or Pete.

Very interesting. No tell Lover was the only song off Hot Streets (fall of 78) to make the Billboard top 100 in 1979 finishing the year @ #99. And if I'm not mistaken co written by Mr. Danny Seraphine. A fantastic song off of an album that I always thought was pretty darn good. Hard to believe but Alive again didn't even place. Seraphine's melodic, powerful, and yet sensitive drumming on the original cannot be replaced. Nor can Cetera's vocals.

Although I like Peter's version (voice) better Lee is okay. I don't like it when people bash Chicago and it is also as bad when people bash Peter. I love Peter Cetera and I love Chicago. The past is the past and no one really knows what happen other then the members of the original band members.

I saw Chicago in concert Glen Helen Park, and it was absolutly the best concert I attended in a long time they sang No Tell Lover and the crowd went crazy, also my favorite Chicago song. Thanks' for the post.
