tsunami waves are long frequency waves that travel under water at deep ocean at speed of 500-1000 km/h normal waves are short frequency waves at travel at the surface of the water at much slower speed normal waves die off short, tsunami waves keeps on going for thousands of miles this is just a huge normal wave.. if its a tsunami wave at this depth of the ocean, this guy wouldnt even notice it exists, which is barely observable

"huge wave"? if one starts to call this huge how do you call waves that break at Waimea Bay, Mavericks or Shipstern Bluff or Jaws etc.. ??In surfers language these are 6 foot waves on the hawaiian scale (measured from the back of the wave)... Waves can be surfable without jetski assistance up to heights of 25 feet on the hawaiian scale.

On the Severn its basically one wave, but the turbulent water behind it sometimes forms up into 5 or 6 smaller waves very close together. Only the front wave is any good for surfing. I'm not a surfer, but those who do surf the Severn say it is different to an ocean wave. It is more of a surge of water than a wave.

@phillicondor Yeah it does look like hes gonna fall backwards, it is cause his feet are sideways and not straight. IF your feet are straight you cannot move like this, but if you go surfer style with feet sideways you can lean WAY back and arch your back and bend the knees to counterbalance. It looks unnatrual but it is possible to lean even farther back w/out falling. It all depends on your style and how good you are at it. And this guy is pretty good.
