actually some breed of potato can give multiple harvest? I thought to get the potato, you have to dig it up and will thus kill the plant... water efficient? sorry but it's a climate thing. if you say : there are breeds of potato that can be grown in high humidity area. It just means that they can grow, and take same amount of water as rice in those area... So how is that efficient? And besides, water used to grow plant are not polluted by chemicals in the process so how is that not ecological?

Sony knew this camera could auto adjust perfectly and CHOSE not to let it. That's called a gyp where I come from! It has nothing to do with todays or the technology of a four years ago. I paid $500 for this camera that has the capability to take the perfect shot, but won't do it for me.

I don't care what Diginfo says, I am NEVER buying a Sony camera or anything else for that matter for one simple reason. I am an owner of Sony S85. It's not the newest camera, but just the fact that, in auto mode it adjusts horribly, then when you press the shutter it momentarily readjusts and displays THE PERFECT FUCKING IMAGE in the VF, then readjusts to shit again for the actual shot! That's Sony telling me, "Yeah our camera can take the perfect shot, but we won't let it." Fuck you Sony!

I don't trust Sony for shit! I purchased a Sony DSC three years ago and it is the biggest piece of shit ever. In auto it ONLY adjusts to the brightest spot in the frame and it problems with color. Purple looks blue, BUT when I press the shutter, for a split second everything in the viewfinder is perfect just before it readjusts AGAIN to make everyhitng look like shit for the shutter. And after just three years, knobs and shit are beginning to stop working. Never buying Sony ANYTHING!

O_O;; How odd a invention... It's good an idea, but rather difficult because it works like a tablet. You have to see the screen to see the hair, but the problem is, unlike a computer desktop, hair is in 3D and has texture. It's way too uncertain to feel the depth you need to push the scissors to cut, nor can you lift the virtual hair for the various hair cutting techniques hairstylists use. Unless they include some device for the other hand as well, this sadly isn't any good than for a toy.

I scratch my head at those who can't see the implications this sort of VR may have. It's prototypical, so of course the detail is coarse, but if you want to get repeated practice cutting hair for instance, a mannequin with hair is only good for so many uses, is somewhat pricey, and volunteers with real hair might be hard to come by, a VR simulation, once programmed in detail with many additional layers of realism could become a great and inexpensive training tool that can be accessed anytime.
